My husband and I decided to stop in on our way home, despite the bad reviews. There's not a lot to choose from, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised! The staff was super friendly, the service was great, and the food was delicious. The chips were fresh and the salsa was good. We got beef and shrimp fajitas. The shrimp was big and cooked to perfection and the tortillas tasted handmade. If we are ever driving through again, we will def go back.
This was a pleasant surprise. The quality of the food was great. The waiters incredible friendly and attentive to every detail. The order came superfast, well prepared and fresh. The chips are also great. I dont't understand some of the low reviews I see. Thank you La Huerta. Keep it up.
La Huerta Mexican restaurant has great value and great tasting Mexican food. This restaurant is a winner winner! We were seated immediately by a very friendly hostess, are server came over immediately took our drink order. We were serve complementary chips and salsa, Queso is not complementary. The menu has appetizers at bargain prices starting from $2.75 to the Shrimp nachos for $8.95. They serve vegetarian combination plates for those meatless eaters. Great inexpensive ala carte menu; burritos, Chalupa's , tostadas, tostadas, chili Rellenos, tamales, tacos. They have street tacos, and combination plates, I chose the taquito plate with guacamole, pico de gallo, beans no rice. The taquitos were shredded beef rolls in a corn tortillas, then deep-fried - delicious! My bill was only $6.34 - that was tax included.
